The award showcases the importance of the art of cinema for Belarusian culture and democratic changes in the country. The 3rd season's Red Heathers will be awarded in February 2026.
The best films of 2023 and 2024 were announced at the award ceremony of the third edition of the Belarusian Film Critics' Award. This time, the ceremony took place in Warsaw at the Luna Cinema. Red Heathers were awarded in 15 categories, and two special mentions were also presented. The film award trophy is a branch of heather breaking through brick.
